I'm a second year PhD student at the University of Washington in the Human-Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) department. Currently, I'm working with Kate Starbird, David McDonald, and Sean Munson to start a new project exploring the use of wearable technology (Catapult, WHOOP, Fitbit, etc.) in athletics. In this 2017-2018 academic year I have been leading a group of undergraduate and masters students, including UW student-athletes and HCDE students, to conduct research in this area. Currently, we are working on a paper that describes resutls from preliminary studies and brainstorming design ideas.

In May 2016, I graduated from UMass Amherst with a BS in Computer Science from the College of Information and Computer Science (CICS). I also completed the Commonwealth Honors College program with an undergraduate capstone project. This project was a part of my work in the LASER Lab where I was advised by Lori A. Clarke. During my undergraduate career I also competed on the NCAA Divsion I UMass Women's Rowing Team. For details about my collegiate rowing career, read my bio.
